Job summary

Default Brand is seeking a Professional Color Advisor to assist homeowners with color schemes and palettes in-store. The role requires a design-focused education and the ability to translate conversations into expert color recommendations.

Responsibilities include attending trainings, using color systems and Photoshop renderings, and maintaining store presentation while delivering excellent customer service. A design background and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Interior Design degree or currently enrolled in a degree program is required.
• Must be professional with a positive attitude and provide educated advice.
• Experience or training in color consultation and customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with color schemes and palettes.
• Attend training and store meetings to improve operations.
• Utilize Dunn-Edwards sales aids and color tools.
• Understand lighting and its effect on color to guide selections.
• Greet customers on the sales floor and provide expert recommendations.
• Process orders by phone and in person; operate cash register.
