Job summary

Safeway in Canada is seeking a bakery team member to handle daily production and customer service. You will operate mixers, ovens and donut fryers, prepare fresh baked goods, and ensure products meet safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates bring bakery experience, strong communication and teamwork skills, and a commitment to health and safety. Availability for days, evenings, and weekends is appreciated and growth opportunities exist within the bakery department.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required or highly preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities are essential.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation and practices is an asset.
• Post-secondary certification is an asset; journeyman/baker status is preferred.
