The Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler is looking for a In Room Dining Manager who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do.

Four Seasons Resort Whistler offers a warm, intimate and comfortable respite after an exhilarating day on the mountain with the largest and best-appointed accommodation and employees who share their genuine appreciation of the land, local expertise and passion for the natural beauty of Whistler.

We are proud to be the only Five Star resort in Whistler, and our Spa at Four Seasons, rated Four Stars, is the only Star-rated spa in the mountain resort. We offer 273 elegant guest rooms and suites; a luxury Spa, an award-winning Steakhouse and an all-day dining restaurant and Bar.

Salary Range: $75,000 to $80,000 annually

What you will do:

This list is not all–inclusive and should only be used as an overview of all actual responsibility.

  • Oversee all aspects of In-Room Dining service: This includes menu development, order taking, food and beverage preparation and delivery, guest service, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation.

  • Lead and manage the In-Room Dining team: This involves hiring, training, scheduling, and motivating staff to provide exceptional service.

  • Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction: This includes proactively addressing guest requests and resolving any issues that may arise during the dining experience.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and sanitation regulations: This includes food safety protocols, hygiene standards, and workplace safety procedures.

  • Control costs and maximize profitability: This involves managing inventory, optimizing order fulfillment processes, and minimizing waste within the In-Room Dining department.

  • Guest Amenity Program: Ensure the amenity program is elevated, relevant to the the location/property and guests based on their VIP codes and preference receive a distinctive amenity. Ensure there is an amenity grid for long stay and high expectations guests. Amenities must be available for guests to pre order via Shopping cart

  • Manage Private Bar Program: Over look private program, ensure the offering is best in class, pricing is accurate in system, team is regularly checking best before dates, refilling all the rooms before guests arrival and charges are posted accurately and disputes handled timely .

What you bring:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a Food & Beverage front of house management position, preferability in the luxury hotel.

  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

  • Fluency in English is required for this role

  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest service with a strong focus on exceeding guest expectations.

Schedule & Hours:

As our hotel is open 24/7, 365 days a year, we expect our In Room Dining Manager to be flexible in working mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
