Join our dynamic, diverse team at Four Seasons Resort & Residences Whistler as the Full Time, In Room Dining Coordinator.

Satisfying our guests depends on the united efforts of many, we are most effective when we work together cooperatively, respecting each other’s contribution and importance.
Hourly Wage: $23 .00 - $25.00
What you will do:
Ensure accurate order taking with full menu knowledge
Ensure all pick-up charts are aligned with the most recent menu in circulation and ask Chef for any update that shall be required
If repeated order errors occur, escalate to Supervisor/Manager
Communicate special requests and orders to the kitchen efficiently
If kitchen miscommunication affects service, escalate to Chef or MOD
Coordinate guest requests via HOTSoS with relevant departments and ask for confirmation when completed
Effectively communicate with Private Bar attendants on any room requests that shall come in
If guest requests are repeatedly delayed/unfulfilled, escalate to Department Head
Generate Trace Reports off Opera the day before to ensure that amenity sheet is ready for next day VIP arrivals and only a few edits to be kept pending
If inaccuracies are found, escalate to In Room Dining Manager
Ensure timely delivery of amenities with the servers based on ETA
If delays occur with room status coming in from front desk or amenity production from the kitchen frequently , escalate to In Room Dining Manager
Print and update BEo /speed sheets for Pre-Orders & Small Events, Private Chef Experience, Internal BEO, Direct Line etc
Organize pre-orders, amenities, beverage requests listed on the BEO
If pre-orders are mismanaged, escalate to Events Manager mentioned on the BEO
Prepare for small events (Refer Daily Clip Board and update briefing board)
If event setup or coordination fails, escalate to Event Coordinator & IRD Supervisor
Menu & System Management
Update menus and ensure accuracy in IRIS system
If menu updates are incorrect or delayed, escalate to MOD
Assist with special admin projects (e.g., grats , cash tips, schedule changes, amenity sheet edits and maintenance, HotSOS reports and daily records)
Conduct monthly menu engineering reviews and updates on revenues and sales to be kept updated for BOO slides (supporting Room Service Manager)
Share and record all guest feedback, pertaining to service, food and all or any other matters related to the Room Service Department.
Help on the floor when necessary, with setting up of trolleys, food pick up from relevant kitchens and helping service team deliver orders to the rooms
Other duties within the In Room Dining and Private Bar departments may be required .
What you bring:
Prior experience in Food & Beverage
Have great customer service and communication skills and a positive, outgoing personality .
Ability to multi task
Strong command of the English language.
Valid work authorization for Canada.

Schedule & Hours:
As our hotel is open 24/7, 365 days a year, we expect our service staff to be flexible in working mornings, evenings, weekends, overnights and holidays.
