Job summary

Fairmont Chateau Whistler is seeking an In-Room Dining Captain to lead the In-Room Dining team and deliver a world-class guest experience. Reporting to the In-Room Dining Manager, you will oversee daily operations and mentor colleagues.

This full-time position begins Winter 2026 with a starting rate of $20.55 per hour. Pay increases after six months and annually to $27.25 at the three-year mark.

Qualifications

• Previous customer related supervisory experience preferred
• Food Safe Certification is required
• Serving It Right Qualification Required

• Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the In-Room Dining department
• Provide operational support to the management team and F&B division

In-Room Dining Captain

As In-Room Dining Captain, you will be a key leader in delivering a world class In-Room Dining experience at Fairmont Chateau Whistler. Reporting to the In-Room Dining Manager, you will oversee daily operations, mentor, and inspire team members, and ensure every guest receives timely, accurate, and memorable service.

This is a full-time, permanent position, beginning Winter 2026.

Starting rate of pay: $20.55 per hour

We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $27.25.

Job Duties Include
