Les responsabilités incluent l'assurance qualité sur les équipements de sécurité, la planification des maintenances et l'interaction avec divers contacts. Les candidats doivent être bilingues en français et anglais et avoir une expérience dans l'industrie pétrolière. Un programme de formation est proposé aux nouveaux employés.

Qualifications

  • Expérience progressive dans un environnement industriel (pétrochimie, opérations de raffinerie).
  • Capacité à lire et interpréter des procédures techniques.
  • Intégrité et professionnalisme démontrés.

Responsibilities

  • Planifie les horaires journaliers pour maximiser le service client.
  • Effectue l'inspection et la maintenance d'équipements de sécurité.
  • Participe à l'évaluation des besoins d'équipement pour les projets à venir.

Overview

TSS Total Safety Services recrute actuellement un technicien IPSC pour un poste à long terme au sein de la région de Québec. Le candidat doit s’exprimer en français, et une connaissance de base de l’anglais représente un atout. Leur principale responsabilité sera de fournir une assurance qualité / contrôle qualité (AQ / CQ) sur les équipements de sécurité dans un environnement industriel. Nous recherchons des candidats ayant une expérience antérieure dans l'industrie pétrolière et gazière. L'expérience en matière de sécurité est un atout, cependant, TSS propose un programme de formation complet - tous les niveaux d'expérience sont donc invités à postuler.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Plans daily schedules and operating priorities to provide maximum levels of customer service.
  • Plans and oversees a Preventive Maintenance Program and repair facility for Total Safety and out-sourced equipment.
  • Perform inspection, cleaning, servicing, reassembling and testing of various breathing air equipment, SABA (Supplied Air Breathing Apparatus) and other respiratory equipment in accordance with approved testing and service procedures.
  • Performs maintenance, calibration, and repair of various equipment which may include several and different portable gas monitors.
  • Support breathing air equipment setup at facility as per Total Safety’s Safe Work Procedures
  • Perform respiratory fit testing on a variety of breathing air masks (SCOTT, 3M, NORTH)
  • Follow and be an advocate for all rules, policies and procedures as per the client’s health and safety program, Total Safety’s HSE program, and all other applicable legislation;
  • Participate and plan for the assessment of equipment needs for upcoming scopes of work
  • Complete and maintain records of inspection for auditing purposes
  • Assists with special projects as assigned. May occasionally be called upon to fill in or help handle excess workload demands.
Required Skills & Abilities
  • Must be bilingual in French and English; written and spoken - CELPIP and TEF Level 5 (or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills
  • Strong observational and listening skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and other database software
  • Above average organization, communication and interpersonal skills required to interact with multiple internal, external & executive contacts
Required Qualifications / Experience
  • Progressive experience within an industrial setting (petrochemical, refinery operations) and / or other industrial settings. Experience in Confined Space Entry, Respiratory Protection and Gas Detection is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical procedures, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Demonstrated integrity, professionalism and commitment to safety.
  • Above average organization, communication and interpersonal skills required to interact with multiple internal, external & executive contacts.
  • Working knowledge of customer business and industry with ability to define specific and / or special customer needs to satisfy the needs of the customer
  • Standard First Aid & CPR / WHMIS
Additional Requirements
  • Must hold a valid Driver’s License and a clean Driver’s Abstract
  • Ability to pass pre-employment Drug & Alcohol testing
  • Willing to work outdoors, work an irregular schedule (including night shifts and weekends)
  • Must be capable of working with limited supervision and able to exercise initiative and sound judgment
