Job summary

MedMe Health Limited is seeking an in-house counsel to support its Canadian and US operations. You’ll own privacy and AI risk posture, negotiate enterprise contracts, and handle corporate matters for a two-entity, venture-backed company.

This generalist role requires building MedMe's first legal templates and playbooks while triaging broadly and advising on employment law. Hybrid Toronto office, with cross-border responsibilities across Canada and the US.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of associate experience in commercial/contract law, corporate matters, healthcare, technology/AI, and privacy/data.

Responsibilities

• Own contract review, redlines, and negotiation for Canadian and US commercial agreements, enterprise SaaS contracts, vendor agreements, and partnerships.
• Support governance, entity structure, and other company-level legal needs as MedMe scales across two countries.
• Manage cross-border complexity and know when to involve outside counsel.
• Support HR on employment-law matters and advise People & Culture on employee-related issues.
• Build and codify MedMe's first legal playbooks and templates to reduce dependence on individual input.
