5-8 years | Calgary

We are working with a major national company, a well-known household name brand, now looking for an experienced In-house lawyer to be second chair to their General Counsel.

This is a truly broad generalist in-house position where you’ll be advising the business on a wide range of legal and compliance matters. The legal team is strongly embedded in the company as a true business partner, and they are looking for someone who enjoys and has experience working closely to support a business.

You will need to have previous in-house experience, with exposure to franchise law and employment law. A background in managing projects would be useful, as would any experience in privacy and compliance matters.
