In-House Billingual Legal Assistant – 100% remote

Would you like to work as part of a legal team whose expertise extends internationally?

Excellent opportunity for a bilingual Legal assistant who demonstrates exceptional language skills for internal communications in French and production of legal documents in English.

The selected candidate will be able to work remotely and must open for occasional in-person, a few days a year in Quebec City.

YOUR ROLE :

As Legal Assistant, you will work closely with the vp legal affairs and her team of lawyers.

Your main responsibilities will include :

  • Coordinate Board meetings and preparation of required documents;
  • Produce agendas and minutes, in English;
  • Maintain database of contractual agreements;
  • Participate in various internal meetings;
  • Assist with the layout of legal contracts drafted in English;

Provide administrative support to legal team members as required.

SKILLS REQUIRED :

  • DVS in secretarial studies or DCS in Paralegal Technology ;
  • Experience as a Legal Assistant / Paralegal;
  • Bilingualism required, French and English , particularly for production of legal documents in English (contracts);
  • Excellent command of the Microsoft Office Suite : Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Proactivity and good time management;
