Job summary

Prep Academy Tutors is seeking an experienced tutor to support two homeschool families in Southwest Calgary during the upcoming school year. The role focuses on delivering academic support aligned with the Alberta curriculum in a one-on-one setting.

You will provide individualized instruction and supplementary assignments to promote understanding, along with remedial and enrichment support for diverse learning needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) required.
• Experience providing one-on-one tutoring.
• Experience teaching Elementary and Junior High.

Responsibilities

• Support two homeschool families during the school year.
• Provide academic support based on expertise and Alberta curriculum.
• Deliver individualized instruction and assignments to promote understanding.
• Provide remedial and enrichment support based on learning needs.
• Communicate progress and goals with parents or guardians.
• Create a positive, engaging, supportive learning environment.
