Job summary

School is Easy Tutoring is seeking social studies tutors who can go to students' homes in the Metro Vancouver area. We carefully match tutors and students, making this a feel-good role where students gain confidence and reach academic goals.

As an independent contractor, you will be paid hourly between $20.00 and $32.00, with monthly direct deposits. The role offers flexibility with an online/offline mix and ongoing support as part of LaunchLife family of companies.

Qualifications

• Experience tutoring students in Social Studies.
• Ability to plan and tailor lessons to individual needs.
• Strong communication with students and parents.

Responsibilities

• Assessing student's needs and developing a plan to help them succeed
• Assisting students with homework, projects, test preparation and assignments.
• Teaching skills to improve academic performance, including study strategies, note-taking skills, and approaches to answering test questions
• Providing students with positive and constructive feedback
