Job summary

School Is Easy Tutoring is seeking math tutors to help students. Sessions will be in Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Pitt Meadows, Delta or Maple Ridge at students' homes.

We match tutors with students carefully, delivering a rewarding, confidence-building experience that supports academic goals. As part of LaunchLife, our tutors enjoy independence, timely deposits, and ongoing support while earning $17.00–$31.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience tutoring math across ages.
• Ability to assess student needs and tailor plans.
• Strong communication with students and parents.

Responsibilities

• Assessing student's needs and developing a plan to help them succeed
• Assisting students with homework, projects, test preparation and assignments.
• Teaching skills to improve academic performance, including study strategies, note-taking skills, and approaches to answering test questions
• Providing students with positive and constructive feedback
• Offering feedback on progress to students' parents
