Job summary

Bayshore HealthCare's Carecor division in Sarnia North is seeking a dedicated Personal Support Worker for a casual, part-time role with evenings and weekends. On-site visits to clients’ homes are required, with hourly pay ranging from $23.00 to $25.00.

You will provide personal care, mobility assistance, meal prep, light housekeeping, and emotional support according to individualized care plans, documenting observations and coordinating with care coordinators to ensure safe, dignified home care.

Qualifications

• PSW certificate or enrolled in Nursing pathway.
• CPI Certification preferred.
• Clinical PSW experience within the past 2 years.
• Current BLS and N95 mask fit certification.
• Immunization proof for MMRV, Hepatitis B, and Tdap/Td.
• TB test within past year or chest x-ray within past 5 years.
• Willing to undergo Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
• Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care per care plan to meet emotional, physical, and safety needs.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, mobility, and medication reminders as allowed by scope of practice.
• Perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, and companionship.
• Document observations and report changes to supervisors.
• Follow infection prevention practices and participate in care quality activities.
