Qualifications

• Post Basic ECE credential required.
• BC ECE certification required; ITE certification strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's or Master's in ECE/related field highly desirable.
• Montessori/Reggio or similar training is an asset.
• First Aid/CPR certification and clear criminal record check required.
• Fluency in Mandarin/Cantonese/Japanese/English valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated one-on-one care for a 21-month-old child in the family's home.
• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate activities to support language, cognitive, and motor skills.
• Foster a child-centered environment with routines, play, reading, music, and outdoor activities.
• Communicate with family about progress and daily activities.
• Ensure safety and well-being, manage daily schedules and transitions.
