Job summary

Dilico Anishinabek Family Care seeks a Community and Personal Support Worker to provide in-home support and personal care to clients, helping them stay independent in their homes and communities.

Under supervision, you’ll collaborate with health staff, assist with daily living activities, caregiver relief, and palliative care, with travel to Dilico communities as needed. A PSW certificate and valid Ontario G license are required.

Qualifications

• A minimum one-year PSW Certificate is required.
• Minimum two years direct experience in in-home personal care.
• Must have a PSW Certificate or be willing to complete training.
• Must have Ontario G driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
• Criminal Record and VSS check required on hiring.
• Flexibility for days, evenings, weekends; travel weekly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-home support and personal care to ill, frail, and disabled clients.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Provide caregiver relief, palliative care, and support services.
• Support speech, language, and life enrichment activities.
• Travel to Dilico communities weekly as required.
