• NOC Job Code/Title: 44100 - Home child care provider

Terms of employment: This job is for a full-time position (30 hours per week). Flexible hours are required. English or French. Job start date is July 1, 2025

Salary: Wage offered is between $32.96 per hour.

Location: PaLe… lives in Montreal, Quebec. The home is situated in a residential neighbourhood. The city bus and the metro are easily accessible and is close by. The major intersection is St Laurent boul., & Boul. René Lévesque.

Duties may include:

1- This job is to help with the care of a 13 year old child.

2- Supervision of child when parent is not at home,

3- Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings to provide amusement and exercise,

4- Discipline child according to the methods requested by the parents,

5- Instruct child in personal hygiene and social development,

6- Plan, prepare and serve meals for child. Kitchen clean-up is also required,

7- General housework that will include doing laundry and ironing of school uniforms.

8- Dusting rooms to ensure a clean environment

Qualifications:

1- Must have completed at minimum Canadian secondary school education

2- Must have at least one year of work-related experience as a caregiver

3- Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, patient, and able to manage the job without supervision.
