In-home Caregiver – Private Home – BD+MS Family

Terms of Employment: This job is for a full-time position (32 – 40 hours per week). Flexible/Split shift work schedule is required. Weekend work may be required. Job starts as soon as possible.

Language Required: French or English.

Salary: Wage offered is between $15.75 and $17.00 per hour. If Quebec minimum wage is paid, future wage adjustments will be made when the provincial minimum wage rate changes.

Location: BD+MS live in the city of Montreal, Quebec. The home is situated in a residential neighbourhood, with schools and parks nearby. The city bus is easily accessible (bus #162 or #104). The major intersection is Monkland and Boul Cavendish.

Duties May Include:

1. Helping with the care of one toddler.
2. Supervision of the baby when parents are not at home.
3. Sterilizing bottles, preparing formula, and changing diapers.
4. Bathing, dressing, and feeding the infant.
5. General housework including laundry, ironing, dusting, and keeping the play area clean.
6. Ensuring a clean environment.

Qualifications:

1. Must have completed at minimum the Canadian equivalent of secondary school education.
2. Must have at least one year of work-related experience as a caregiver.
3. Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, and able to manage the job without supervision.
