Job summary

Face Personnel Services in the Montreal Westmount area is seeking an in-home caregiver to support a private family. The position is full-time, 30–40 hours per week, with flexible/split shifts and possible weekend work.

The caregiver will assist with childcare, organize activities, prepare meals, and help with light housework in a respectful home setting. The role requires English or French language ability, wage between 19 and 23 CAD per hour, and at least a Canadian secondary education

Qualifications

• Must have completed at minimum Canadian equivalent of secondary school education.
• Must have at least one year of work-related experience as a caregiver or equivalent training.
• Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, and able to manage the job without supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist with childcare tasks and supervision.
• Organize simple games and activities to promote amusement and exercise.
• Help with care and supervision when parents are not home.
• Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings.
• Plan, prepare and serve meals; kitchen clean-up required.
• General housework including laundry.
• Dusting rooms to maintain a clean environment.

Terms of employment: This job is for a full-time position, between 30 and 40 hours per week. Flexible / Split shift work schedule is required. Weekend work may be required. Job starts as soon as possible.

Language requirement: English or French.

Salary: Wage offered is between $19 and $23 per hour.

Location: AdCh… lives in Westmount, Quebec. The home is situated in a residential neighbourhood; school and parks are nearby. The city bus is easily accessible and is close by (#51). The major intersection is Serbrooke St. O and av Clarke.

Duties may include:

1- This job is to help with the childcare

2- Organize simple games and activities to provide amusement and exercise

3- Help with the care and supervision of the children, especially when parents are not home.

4- Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings to provide amusement and exercise

5- Plan, prepare and serve meals. Kitchen clean-up is also required

6- General housework that will include doing laundry.

7- Dusting rooms to ensure a clean environment
