We are seeking a live-in caregiver in Laval to assist an elderly couple in their home. The male, aged 82, has Parkinson's disease, and the female, aged 89, suffers from advanced dementia. This is a permanent, full-time position with 40 hours per week, scheduled from 9 am to 5 pm, five days a week. Days off are typically Mondays and Thursdays, but flexibility is essential as this may vary. The hourly wage is $16.10.

Languages: English and French.

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities include:

1. Preparing, serving, and feeding nutritious meals.
2. Administering medications.
3. Providing personal care and hygiene support.
4. Using a lift from bed to chair (must be able to do so safely).
5. Assisting with daily exercises.
6. Performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
7. Washing clothes and bed linens.

The caregiver must be punctual, reliable, possess good judgment, and have a strong sense of responsibility. Excellent interpersonal skills and at least 2 years of experience working with seniors are required.
