Job summary

Qualifications

• Education typically requires Grade 12 and two years of home care experience or equivalent life experience.
• Experience in personal care tasks and health support is preferred.
• Ability to perform transfers, mobility assistance and household tasks is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential personal care and specialized support, including bathing, grooming, mobility, and medication reminders.
• Monitor health status and identify risks, elevating concerns to health professionals when needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold health and safety protocols in diverse environments.
• Advocate for client needs through Inuit cultural lens to respect values and traditions.
