Job summary

Air Canada is seeking a Strategic Procurement Advisor - In-Flight Products and Services to join the Montreal headquarters. You will lead sourcing events, analyze spend, and develop category strategies for onboard products and services, collaborating with cross-functional teams to maximize value and ensure best-in-class supplier partnerships.

You will report to the Senior Manager - Strategic Procurement and help drive procurement excellence, with responsibilities spanning market research, tender

Qualifications

• University degree plus 2–3 years in procurement, supplier selection, or supply chain.
• Proficiency in MS Office; Power BI/Power Apps or data tools is an asset.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven negotiation skills with third parties.
• Ability to multitask, adapt to changing priorities and travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage sourcing events, autonomously or with the Senior Manager.
• Conduct procurement market research and baseline spend analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine business requirements and supplier strategies.
• Prepare and issue calls for tenders, evaluate responses, and negotiate.
• Design and implement category strategies with clear objectives.
• Conduct contract negotiations and oversee drafting and signing.
• Improve internal procurement practices and stay ahead of market trends.
• Develop models to evaluate supplier proposals using quantitative/qualitative criteria.
