Salary ranges from $20.32–$23.78 per hour for uncertified staff or $22.56–$26.39 for certified staff, depending on education and experience. Ideal candidates have Grade 12 or equivalent, experience with Special Needs students, and strong confidentiality and compassionate communication when supporting children.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 preferred but not mandatory
• Experience or specialized training working with Special Needs Students is preferred
• Must be caring, loving, compassionate, and enjoy working with children
• Ability to maintain confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teacher by providing support and programming for students
• Work in and out of the classroom with individuals and groups
