Salary range for the position is $88,990 to $127,923. Salaries are determined based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity review.

How Will You Create An Impact

The Improvement Consultant provides leadership, coaching, facilitation, and education in quality improvement principles and practices, supporting evidence-based systems aligned with the Quality and Patient Safety Strategic Plan.

As part of the Interior Health Quality and Patient Safety program, you will collaborate with healthcare leaders, managers, and physicians to plan, implement, and evaluate improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing care quality, safety, and risk reduction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build capacity through education and training in quality methodologies like lean improvement and management.
  • Support development and implementation of best practices for quality improvement.
  • Participate in serious incident reviews, providing reports and recommendations.
Additional Duties
  • Lead and support a culture of continuous quality improvement.
  • Facilitate integration of quality initiatives with data monitoring and reporting.
  • Collaborate with leaders and staff to improve patient-centered care, safety, and service utilization.
  • Support accreditation processes and standards compliance.
  • Provide education on Lean principles, change management, and facilitation skills.
  • Apply Lean methodologies to improve processes across clinical and corporate settings.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
