Aston Carter's large client is seeking an Implementation Specialist to join their team!

Key Responsibilities

• Manage stakeholders' needs and expectations to provide effective solutions and deliver exceptional service.
• Ensure that the facilitation and implementation of the change management process is seamless.
• Conduct data mapping exercises to align source data fields with ERP system requirements, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Assist business units with financial data migration and best practices in accordance with ASPE.
• Recognize gaps and assist super users during User Acceptance Testing.
• Support cutover planning and execution
• Support clients in the training and adoption of IFS Cloud.
• Collaborate directly with decision-makers to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Demonstrate the ability to align business processes and communicate with all levels of an organization with professionalism and best practice expertise.
• Develop, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and detailed work instructions to guide ERP processes and user adoption

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Must Haves:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting, accounting, or related roles.
• SAP/Oracle implementation experience.
• Led project by themselves or has been solution architect.
• Large (100M+) Public Company experience.
• Strong MS Excel Experience.
• SQL and Power BI experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, ASPE and other accounting standards, with the ability to apply principles to complex financial transactions.
• Hands on experience writing SOP's.

Nice to Have:

• Prior experience with systems conversion is an asset.
• Prior experience with mergers and acquisitions including amalgamations is an asset.
• CPA designation.
• IFS implementation experience.
• Experience working on the data side of an implementation.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $135000.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Calgary,AB.
