About The Role

The Implementation Leader will plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and control all aspects of implementing RS Integrated Supply programs for managing clients’ in-plant storerooms. This role requires 80% travel and is fully remote — candidates may reside in any U.S. state or territory.

Implementation Leaders handle special projects such as converting new client sites to meet performance objectives, training site staff on SOPs, managing sites temporarily, and overseeing data conversion and migration projects. Additional duties include process documentation and participation in operational and safety audits.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Sr. Implementation Lead and/or Director to identify resources for implementations and projects.
• Lead or support data collection, operational planning, procedure development, and inventory counts.
• Ensure compliance with OPEX Implementation Audit standards.
• Document site procedures and support data standardization.
• Assist sourcing/procurement teams in identifying suppliers and collecting pricing.
• Collaborate with IT on data building and troubleshooting.
• Participate in hiring and training site staff, including temporary labor.
• Provide customer support and manage transition from implementation to operations.
• Prepare weekly project reports and recommendations to meet timelines.
• Create reports using Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Collect manufacturer and parts info using data templates or inventory systems.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Support audits and data projects.
• Follow RSIS EH&S guidelines and training.

Candidate Requirements

• Technical school, two-year college, or associate’s degree required.
• Ability to build productive relationships across staff and management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Access, MS Project, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• 5-8 years’ project management or related experience.
• Experience with production and maintenance materials (electrical, power transmission, safety, PVF, mill suppliers) preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ supervisory experience.
• Understanding of P&L and financial reporting.
• Availability to travel 80% of the time.
