A high-growth fintech delivering next-generation trading technology to the world's leading asset managers and hedge funds. Their modular Order and Execution Management System (OEMS) powers smarter, faster, and more compliant trading across multi-asset classes.

With a growing footprint across the North America, they are looking for a functional implementation expert who understands the complexity of buy-side trading—and knows how to turn a sophisticated platform into a seamless client experience.

The Role

As a Functional Implementation Consultant, you’ll be the key link between clients, internal product teams, and developers during onboarding projects. You'll gather requirements, map out workflows, configure solutions, and ensure every go-live is on point—giving trading desks the tools they need to execute with confidence. This is a hands-on role for someone who can think commercially, deliver technically, and build trust with front-office users.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead client implementations of OMS/EMS solutions across asset managers and hedge funds

Gather functional requirements through workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder interviews

Map client workflows to system capabilities and design effective solutions

Configure and test the system to ensure full alignment to trading desk needs and compliance requirements

Train users, support user acceptance testing (UAT), and manage go-live activities

Act as the voice of the client internally—feeding into product enhancements and roadmaps

Partner with project managers, engineers, and client services to deliver high-quality outcomes

What They’re Looking For

5+ years’ experience delivering OMS/EMS solutions

Strong knowledge of buy-side trading workflows across equities, fixed income, FX, or derivatives

Confident in client-facing environments, able to lead workshops and communicate technical concepts clearly

Comfortable with systems configuration, testing, and UAT processes

Solid grasp of FIX protocol and trade lifecycle concepts
