Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Implementation Analyst based in Canada.

The Implementation Analyst will play a key role in delivering seamless onboarding experiences for clients within the group benefits and retirement services industry. In this position, you will coordinate client implementations from initial planning through completion, ensuring accurate data, efficient processes, and successful system configurations. You will collaborate with clients, insurance carriers, and internal teams to facilitate technical setups and ensure a smooth transition for new and renewing accounts. This role combines data analysis, project coordination, client communication, and process improvement within a technology-driven environment. You will have the opportunity to contribute to operational excellence while helping enhance the quality and reliability of digital benefits administration. With multiple positions available and a remote-first working arrangement across Canada, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise in implementation, data management, and client service.

Accountabilities:
  • Manage client implementations: Coordinate the full onboarding lifecycle, from project initiation to completion, ensuring implementation activities are delivered accurately, efficiently, and within established timelines.
  • Lead kickoff meetings: Organize and facilitate client onboarding meetings to establish expectations, gather essential information, clarify requirements, and define project milestones and next steps.
  • Review implementation documentation: Validate client forms, supporting documents, and onboarding information to ensure accuracy, completeness, and readiness for submission.
  • Coordinate carrier setup: Prepare and submit implementation forms to insurance carrier partners, following up on outstanding requirements to support timely processing.
  • Configure client and member accounts: Ensure new clients and plan members are correctly established within internal administration platforms and carrier systems.
  • Maintain data integrity: Conduct data audits, verify system configurations, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to maintain reliable and consistent information.
  • Collaborate across teams: Serve as a central point of contact between Operations, Sales, Systems, Carrier Relations, clients, and external partners to coordinate implementation activities and resolve issues.
  • Resolve onboarding challenges: Manage carrier-related requests, troubleshoot implementation issues, and coordinate solutions to minimize delays and ensure a positive client experience.
  • Analyze implementation data: Use spreadsheets and other available tools to review information, identify inconsistencies, and support accurate reporting and decision-making.
  • Improve operational processes: Identify inefficiencies, recommend practical improvements, and contribute to streamlined workflows that enhance implementation quality and client satisfaction.
  • Manage competing priorities: Coordinate multiple implementation projects simultaneously, monitor progress, communicate updates, and ensure deadlines and service expectations are met.
Requirements:
  • Professional experience: At least one year of experience in group benefits or a related industry is preferred. Experience in benefits administration, insurance, client onboarding, or implementation support is an asset.
  • Data analysis and Excel proficiency: Strong analytical skills and practical experience with Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, formulas, and data validation techniques.
  • Technical knowledge: Familiarity with HRIS platforms, data feeds, insurance carrier systems, or benefits administration software is an advantage.
  • Language skills: Professional French-language capability is an asset. At least one successful candidate must be bilingual in English and French to support a diverse client base. Industry-specific terminology can be learned with coaching.
  • Project coordination: Ability to organize and manage multiple implementation projects concurrently, establish priorities, track progress, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Client service experience: Previous experience working with clients in a professional environment, with a strong commitment to responsiveness, accuracy, and positive client relationships.
  • Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain requirements, facilitate meetings, coordinate follow-ups, and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail: A meticulous approach to reviewing documentation, validating data, identifying discrepancies, and maintaining accurate system configurations.
  • Problem-solving abilities: Strong critical-thinking skills and the initiative to investigate issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Adaptability: Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment where priorities may change and continuous improvement is encouraged.
  • Teamwork and collaboration: Ability to work effectively across departments, coordinate diverse stakeholders, and contribute to shared implementation goals.
  • Continuous improvement mindset: A willingness to learn new technologies, develop industry knowledge, and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and the client experience.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary: Annual compensation ranging from CAD 55,000 to CAD 65,000.
