Job summary

Peterborough Regional Health Centre (PRHC) in Peterborough, Ontario, is seeking a Temporary Occupational Therapist to join the TH Occupational Therapy team. The role focuses on adult rehab, admissions assessment, and discharge planning within a dynamic, patient-centered care environment.

Responsibilities include OT assessments, interventions for self-care, productivity and leisure, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Licensure in Ontario and experience with neurology/orthopaedics are preferred.

Qualifications

• University degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized University.
• Licensed to practice with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
• Related experience with Adult Rehab patients including Neurology, Orthopaedic and Amputee.
• ADP Authorization for Wheelchairs is an asset; willingness to become a registered ADP authorizer.

Responsibilities

• Conduct OT assessments and discharge planning.
• Provide OT interventions in self-care, productivity and leisure.
• Educate clients and collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain thorough documentation and professional standards.
