Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Unrestricted OT registration with Ontario College is required.
• One year of experience with adults with serious mental illness in outpatient psychiatric settings preferred.
• Experience in diverse community settings including clients' homes desired.
• Valid Ontario G Class driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Develops effective therapeutic relationships with individuals and teams.
• Coordinates, monitors and revises treatment, rehabilitation, and support per recovery plan.
• Writes and evaluates recovery goals and plans with individuals and the team.
• Provides education and support to individuals and families, advocating for rights and preferences.
• Performs comprehensive assessments and delivers direct clinical OT services to improve daily living skills.

Education

Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy

Unrestricted registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
