Job summary

AgeCare is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Victoria, BC. Reporting to the Director of Care, this role provides planned, resident‑centered nursing care in line with provincial standards.

You will collaborate with an inter‑professional team to assess, plan, implement and document care. Required: Practical Nurse Diploma, current registration, CPR/First Aid, and ability to lead and mentor colleagues.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing in the applicable province.
• Experience in senior or long-term care preferred.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Demonstrates leadership, coaching and teamwork values.

Responsibilities

• Provide planned, patient-centered nursing care per provincial standards.
• Complete assessments, care/service plans and documentation accurately.
• Implement, evaluate and adjust care plans as needed.
• Assist with care conferences and coordinate moves in/out and transfers.
• Deliver direct resident care and medication administration per policies.
