Job summary

PwC Canada is seeking an Associate in Sustainability within the Risk Services practice. You will engage in ESG data analysis, assurance procedures, and complex GAAP evaluations while collaborating with diverse teams across Canada.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in or completed post-secondary education and working to obtain all Canadian CPA prerequisites.
• Interest in digital tools and technology trends; openness to learning new tools.
• Commitment to valuing differences and diverse perspectives.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Share and collaborate effectively with others; build trusting relationships.
• Adaptable with good project management and prioritization.

• You’ll travel to cities across Canada when needed.
• Bilingual English and French is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Qualitative and quantitative research using ESG data.
• Develop and execute assurance procedures related to ESG attestations.
• Evaluate processes and controls to support external reporting.
• Perform complex technical accounting and GAAP analyses related to ESG.
• Apply analytical skills with our client base.
• Assist in disclosures aligned with ESG reporting standards.
• Contribute to multi-disciplinary projects; support several projects concurrently.
• Help clients improve ESG reporting and build trust in sustainability performance.
• Support Greenhouse Gas reporting, quantification, and assurance.
• Contribute to thought leadership and client relationship building.
• Provide ESG reporting and assurance services to diverse industries.
• Participate in client meetings and assist in deliverables preparation.
• Assist budgets, proposals, and marketing of services to clients.
