Job summary

RVA is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Urban and Riverine Systems team in Toronto. You will support stormwater management, flood control, watershed modeling, and infrastructure design, collaborating with engineers, planners, and clients.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of consulting experience, proficiency with Civil 3D, ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, and are a licensed Professional Engineer with PEO. We offer employee ownership, competitive compensation, and flexible work arrangements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a consulting environment for linear infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D, ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, and SWMM for hydrologic and hydraulic modeling.
• Ability to perform site assessments and data analysis to support design recommendations.
• Registered Professional Engineer with PEO.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of stormwater, drainage, and flood management systems.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling for water resources projects.
• Provide technical guidance to junior staff and support proposal development.
• Prepare drawings, reports, and specifications using CAD and GIS.
