Job Posting: Impact Coordinator (Part-Time, Remote – GTA-Based)

Contract: 6 months | Start Date: June 24, 2025 | $35/hour | 15–20 hrs/week

Good Measure Productions, a leading impact production company in Canada, is seeking a passionate, organized, and creative Impact Coordinator to support and implement film-driven campaigns that move people to action.

This part-time, remote position offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of film, community organizing, and social change. You’ll collaborate on campaigns with independent filmmakers, production companies and distributors, and report directly to the founder of Good Measure Productions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and coordinate film-based grassroots organizing campaigns in collaboration with GMP and partner organizations.
  • Conduct issue-based research to support campaign development.
  • Create and distribute outreach and press materials, including social media content.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with local, regional, and national organizations.
  • Coordinate event logistics, both in-person and virtual.
  • Attend screening events to oversee logistics and support partners.
  • Submit films to film festivals via Film Freeway and other portals
  • Gather digital media materials at events (photos, video, quotes) and contribute to social media content and storytelling.
  • Track campaign impact using surveys, partner feedback, and key metrics.
  • Participate in internal meetings, project planning, and team collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Experience in community organizing, outreach, or engagement, ideally in a film or media setting.
  • Background or interest in film, visual arts, or impact media.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong time management, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with event production and/or communications/PR.
  • Proficiency with social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter/X, Facebook, YouTube, etc).
  • Passion for social and environmental justice and alignment with GMP’s mission.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment, with strong self-management and prioritization skills
  • Employer: Good Measure Productions
  • Location: Remote (Greater Toronto Area-based preferred)
  • Hours: 15–20 hours per week (flexible). **Note: May need to work evenings and weekends for some projects.
  • Compensation: $35/hour
  • Contract Length: 6 months (with potential to extend)
