Job summary

Charles River is seeking an Analyst to join the Immunology team at the Laval location. You will perform analysis of data for quality and completeness and determine if results are as expected, recording data in compliance with policies and standards.

Primary responsibilities include carrying out sample analysis in a multidisciplinary lab, preparing worksheets, handling samples, and supporting routine lab duties. Training is provided for those new to science.

Qualifications

• No experience in science and/or laboratory is required.
• AEC or DEC in Biotechnology is an asset.
• Team player with a collaborative and positive approach.
• Strong observation & organizational skills.
• Open-minded and willing to learn in a laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out sample analysis in a multidisciplinary laboratory using a wide variety of techniques.
• Prepare technical worksheets and procedures.
• Receive, store, verify and process biological samples for analysis.
• Take part in routine duties of the laboratory such as preparation of reagents, instrument calibration, product reception.
