Job Summary

As an Analyst for our Immunochemistry team located at the Ville St-Laurent site, you will participate in the analysis of serum, plasma, and tissue samples to verify the concentration, toxicity, and stability of assay substances (large molecules) in order to determine the safety and efficacy of drugs.



In this role, primary responsibilities include:

-Perform sample analysis work using various assays and techniques such as ELISA, Electrochemiluminescence (ECL), hybridization, and extractions;
-Check the availability and prepare all required components related to its laboratory activities (literature, samples, solutions, material, equipment, etc.);
-Compile appropriate data and present them properly, clear, readable and complete;
-Perform data analysis to determine if results are within expectations;
-Execute the technical activities described in the procedures and study plans while respecting the Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).

Key Elements

We are looking for the following minimum qualifications for this role:

-Holder of a DEC in Science (Biotechnology, Medical Laboratory, or equivalent) or a BAC in Science (Immunology, Biology, Biochemistry);
-Ability to work under time constraints, outstanding organizational skills and ability to adapt to changes;
-Autonomous, meticulous and detail oriented.



Role Specific Information:

-Location: 7170 rue Frederick-Banting, Saint-Laurent, QC, H4S 2A1;
-Transportation: Free parking;
-Salary: $23/hrs;
-Annual bonus based on performance;
-Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:15pm. Depending on the needs, you may have to do overtime;
-Permanent position as of the hiring, full-time 37.5hrs per week.

About Safety Assessment
Charles River is committed to helping our partners expedite their preclinical drug development with exceptional safety assessment services, state-of-the-art facilities and expert regulatory guidance.
