As an Immigration Lawyer, you will be responsible for:

  2. Analyzing complex legal issues and offering strategic advice;
  3. Representing and supporting clients at every stage of various immigration applications;
  4. Working with clients to gather information and supporting documentation;
  5. Conducting legal research, analyzing complex legal issues and offering strategic advice;
  6. Drafting legal submissions and other documents necessary for case management;
  7. Communicating effectively with clients, colleagues, and government authorities to ensure successful outcomes;
  8. Monitoring changes in legal regulations, immigration laws, policies, and incorporating those findings into your practice.

The successful candidate will possess the following skill set:

  1. Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills;
  2. Exceptional client-focused approach with effective interpersonal and communication abilities;
  3. Ability to leverage technological skills and established procedures and processes;
  4. Proven ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple files;
  5. A strong drive to succeed in a fast-paced and client-focused environment.

We also recognize the importance of integrating work and life, which is why we offer a range of benefits designed to support our team, including:

  1. Flexible work arrangements, including hybrid and remote work options, to support work-life integration;
  2. Industry-leading group benefits program to support your health and well-being;
  3. Personal spending account (wellness benefit);
  4. Enhanced professional development opportunities through training programs, mentorship initiatives, and certifications;
  5. Interest-free student loan program;
  6. Our Team - we can't say enough about our people! You will be part of a collaborative work environment that values respect, equity, diversity, and inclusion;
  7. Opportunities to participate in firm building initiatives, including various committees such as Collective Social Responsibility - volunteerism and pro bono, Wellness, BiPOC, Pride@MC, AccessMC, Special Events Committee, and many more!
