Job summary

Shared Health in Winnipeg is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join the Diagnostic Imaging - Adult team on a casual basis. You will assess patients, initiate IVs, administer oral and IV sedation as needed, and support technologists throughout contrast procedures.

The role requires CRNM registration, CPR, and the ability to work across days, evenings, and weekends in person. Preference for candidates with Indigenous language knowledge and previous diagnostic imaging experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in establishing and managing IVs in patients.
• Preference for recent related clinical nursing experience.
• Previous nursing experience in diagnostic imaging, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status and determine contrast used.
• Initiate IVs as needed.
• Assist Technologists as needed.
• Administer oral and IV sedation as needed.
• Provide quality nursing care to patients.
• Monitor patients during contrast administration.
• Assess allergic reaction severity and respond per physician orders.
