Imaging Specialist - Ottawa/Nepean vacancy to be filled.

Position Overview

We are currently looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Imaging Specialist who will be responsible for preparing customer-supplied print files for press and printing orders following specifications set out in the work-order.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare print files for digital printing, ensuring adherence to specifications.
  2. Operate digital printers and DFEs such as Fiery, Xerox, Konica Minolta, etc.
  3. Perform colour correction and pre-flight checks, especially within CMYK colour space and Pantone matching system.
  4. Collaborate with team members to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  5. Understand substrates and paper stocks to optimize print quality.
Qualifications
  • Experience with digital printers and DFEs (Fiery, Xerox, Konica Minolta, etc.).
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and pre-flight processes.
  • Knowledge of substrates and paper stocks is an asset.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent.

Compensation: $20-22 per hour

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm

Expected hours: 40 per week.
