Job summary

Western University is seeking a Research Associate to contribute to a project developing imaging tools for tracking cells for cancer immunotherapy. Under a Principal Investigator, you will conduct independent research, design experiments, and help prepare reports for stakeholders.

You will mentor graduate students and staff, apply your immunology and molecular biology expertise, and collaborate across teams to achieve project goals while adhering to research ethics and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology or relevant discipline
• PhD in Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology or relevant discipline preferred
• 3 years working experience in an academic research environment in the area of Molecular Biology

Responsibilities

• The Research Associate will apply expertise to a project building imaging tools for tracking cells for cancer immunotherapy.
• Under the PI, conduct original and independent research to support the research outcomes.
• Mentor and guide graduate and undergraduate students and staff; design, build and run experiments.
