Position Details

Type: Fixed Term Part Time

Working Hours: (0.4 EFT for 12 months) 32 hours per fortnight

Classification: Grade 2 Registered Nurse

About The Role

In partnership with Deakin University, WDHS is undertaking a project to implement Heart Failure guidelines in our community. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team working on the I-HEART project, aimed at reducing hospitalisations for patients with heart failure. This two-year project offers the chance to coordinate efforts with local and regional support, engaging clients and service providers through face-to-face assessments and telehealth consultations with Ischaemic Heart Failure specialists.

Essential Qualifications and Experience
  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
  • Experience as a project officer or research assistant/fellow with a clinical background
  • Previous or current clinical experience
Desirable but Not Essential
  • Knowledge or experience in research
  • Experience working with heart failure patients

The successful applicant will need to hold, or be able to obtain, a current National Criminal Police/NDIS Check.
