Job summary

Alberta Blue Cross is seeking a Senior System Analyst to lead Identity Solutions and deliver secure identity, authentication, authorization, and access management services. You will work with Enterprise Architecture, Security, and project teams to ensure reliability and alignment with enterprise standards.

The role requires strong Java and PL/SQL development skills, experience with OID, OAM, OAA, and a track record of guiding complex technical initiatives in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• 5–10 years of progressive Information Technology experience in enterprise applications.
• Senior-level experience with Java and/or PL/SQL development.
• Experience in identity, authentication, authorization, and access management.
• Healthcare or regulated environments experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical leadership for Identity Solutions and related technologies.
• Lead design, implementation, and ongoing support of identity and access management solutions.
• Lead incident response and troubleshoot complex production issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align designs with enterprise standards.
• Support security assessments, audits, and compliance activities.
