Job summary

Desjardins Group is seeking an Identity and Access Management platform administrator who protects IT resources, software, and information by enforcing authentication and access control. You will design, administer and maintain robust security systems and support the platform within an Agile/DevOps team.

The role requires 2+ years of relevant IT platform or Linux admin experience, a related bachelor's degree, French language proficiency, and hands on with Bitbucket/GitHub, Jira, Confluence,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• At least two years of relevant experience as an IT platform administrator, Linux administrator or similar.
• Knowledge of identity management (single sign‑on, OAuth2.0, SAML, JWT) and scripting concepts.
• Familiarity with Bitbucket/GitHub, Jira and Confluence.
• French language is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify, input, analyze, monitor and interpret data to support operational continuity and decision‑making.
• Make recommendations and analyze risks to improve security and operations.
• Write reports and provide advisory recommendations to stakeholders.
• Produce installation, maintenance and operating procedures for the application platform.

Job description

As an Identity and Access Management platform administrator, you help protect IT resources, software and information against unauthorized modification, destruction and disclosure. You also oversee user authentication and access management by designing, administering and maintaining proven, robust security systems. You analyze IT systems and oversee the development of protective measures to back up, restore and secure systems. As a member of a multidisciplinary Agile/DevOps team, you help run and support the platform. More specifically, you will be required to: Identify, input, analyze, monitor and interpret data to support operational continuity, decision‑making and processes that monitor the application of management policies and practices Make recommendations Analyze risks Write reports and make recommendations Provide advice on how to implement recommendations Produce documents describing the installation, maintenance and operating procedures for the application platform and occasionally update solution architecture documents.
