Job summary

A cybersecurity firm is seeking an Identity & Access Management Architect to join their Enterprise Security team. This role requires expertise in cloud IAM solutions, managing user access, and validating identities through advanced authentication. The position is a fixed-term contract for 18 months based in Regina, with a pay range of $80.00 to $90.00 per hour. Onsite presence is mandatory from Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Join the Enterprise Security team as an IAM Architect.
  • Manage user accounts including Privileged Identity Management.
  • Validate user identities through advanced authentication methods.
  • Adapt IAM strategies for cloud environments.
  • Implement security monitoring and auditing mechanisms.

Job Description:

Client is seeking an Identity & Access Management (IAM) Architect, with broad cloud computing and cloud – based IAM solutions backgrounds to join the Enterprise Security team.

Relevant Skills and Experience

  • Experience with cloud computing and cloud-based IAM solutions
  • Manage user accounts, profiles, and attributes, including Privileged Identity Management (PIM)
  • Validate user identities using passwords, multi-factor authentication (MFA), single sign-on (SSO), and biometrics
  • Knowledge of authentication protocols and directories such as SAML, LDAP, and Entra ID
  • Provision and manage user access rights based on roles and permissions, including Privileged Access Management (PAM)
  • Familiarity with access governance frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) and ISO 27001
  • Manage access for users with elevated privileges securely and effectively
  • Adapt IAM strategies for cloud environments, including identity federation and cloud-based access management
  • Implement monitoring and auditing mechanisms to track access activities and detect anomalies or breaches
  • Integrate IAM systems with enterprise applications and services to ensure secure access across platforms
  • Provide training and support to employees on IAM policies and best practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with business users, IT teams, and security professionals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Term: 18 months + possible extension

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 18 months

Pay: $80.00-$90.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

  • Monday to Friday
