Seeking an experienced Identity & Access Management (IAM) Architect to join the Enterprise Security team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing and IAM strategies for cloud-based environments. This role plays a vital part in designing, implementing, and managing secure access across platforms, with a focus on governance, compliance, and seamless user experience. Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage user accounts, profiles, attributes, and privileged identity using tools such as PIM.
  • Design and maintain IAM strategies tailored for cloud environments, including identity federation.
  • Validate identities via passwords, MFA, SSO, and biometrics.
  • Implement and oversee access provisioning based on roles and permissions (PAM).
  • Integrate IAM systems with enterprise applications and services.
  • Ensure compliance with access governance frameworks like NIST CSF and ISO 27001.
  • Monitor and audit access activities; detect anomalies and manage incident response.
  • Support authentication protocols and directories including SAML, LDAP, and Entra ID.
  • Deliver training and support to teams on IAM policies and best practices.
  • Collaborate with business units, IT staff, and security professionals to develop secure solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and oversight on IAM projects.
  • Communicate IAM risks and mitigation strategies effectively to stakeholders.
Required Experience:
  • Expertise in cloud computing and cloud-based IAM tools and platforms.
  • Experience managing PIM and PAM systems.
  • Knowledge of authentication protocols (SAML, LDAP, Entra ID).
  • Experience with MFA, SSO, and biometric authentication.
  • Strong familiarity with security frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001).
  • 5+ years in IAM architecture or related security roles.
Nice-to-Have Experience:
  • Experience in the utility, energy, or government sectors.
  • Previous role: designing IAM for hybrid cloud environments.
