Language Trainers is seeking a native Japanese-speaking instructor to join our client’s language program in St. Catharines, Canada.

This freelance, part-time role offers one-to-one conversational lessons and the chance to help a beginner student build speaking and reading skills. Sessions are scheduled once per week (Tuesday at 1:00 pm) with a two-hour format, and you’ll tailor each lesson to the learner’s goals, including fiction translation practice, while accommodating health and energy

Qualifications

• Native Japanese speaker or qualified teaching background.
• Experience as language teacher, translator or interpreter.
• Valid work permit/visa to work in Canada.
• Residence within 30 km of St. Catharines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-to-one Japanese lessons to a beginner student.
• Help the student speak, read and write Japanese, including translation practice.
• Schedule weekly sessions (Tuesday 1:00 pm) and adapt to health/energy needs.

We are currently looking for a Japanese teacher for one of our clients in St. Catharines, Canada.
