Turn IT on are seeking an ICT Consultant with a passion for technology and excellent customer service skills to support primary schools within a trust around North London.

The successful candidate should ideally own a vehicle and possess a full UK driving license, as the role involves visiting multiple school sites in North London and surrounding areas.

You will be responsible for maintaining IT hardware and services across these sites, improving ICT provisions, and enabling effective teaching and learning through ICT solutions.

You will facilitate communication between schools and Turn IT On, managing customer accounts, maintaining school computer equipment, installing and supporting software, and resolving technical issues. Knowledge of Microsoft Office365 and user applications is essential.

Preferred candidates will have at least 2 years of experience in ICT support, preferably in the education sector, although this is not essential.

The role requires a self-motivated individual with a strong technical background, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to explain technical issues clearly. Independence, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude are important.

Responsibilities Include
  1. Resolving technical issues impacting school operations with effective solutions.
  2. Installing or repairing computers, diagnosing problems, and maintaining network and desktop services, including hardware like iPads, printers, projectors, and AV equipment.
  3. Responding to various technical duties related to network and desktop support, including upgrades and maintenance.
