Job description

As an IBM MDM Technical Lead, you will make an impact by driving the design, development, and integration of complex enterprise solutions using Java, SQL, Unix Shell Scripting, and Master Data Management (MDM) technologies. You will be a valued member of the engineering team, collaborating closely with architects, developers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable and reliable data management solutions.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the end-to-end design and development of complex software solutions using Java and related technologies.
• Oversee database integrations while ensuring high performance, stability, and data integrity.
• Utilize Unix Shell Scripting to automate processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Implement and maintain MDM architecture aligned with enterprise and industry best practices.
• Support seamless integration of IBM MDM Advanced Edition across multiple platforms and teams.

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between CAD 81,000 - CAD 156,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
