Job description

We’re looking for a skilled IBM AS400 RPG Developer to join our growing team and help drive the development and delivery of mission-critical software that powers our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design, develop, and deliver software solutions aligned with functional and non-functional business requirements.
  2. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in RPG (RPG III to ILE RPG) and CL (CLP to ILE-CL).
  3. Develop and maintain DB2 databases using both modern SQL and legacy file descriptions.
  4. Execute unit testing and automated test suites (integration, regression, performance) to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  5. Participate in Agile ceremonies, story refinement, and estimation sessions.
  6. Work closely with business and technical teams to document deployment, support, and operational requirements.
  7. Follow release processes and team development best practices.
What You Bring:
  1. Proven experience with IBM AS400 RPG development, including RPG III to ILE RPG.
  2. Expertise in IBM AS400 Control Language (CLP and ILE-CL).
  3. Strong knowledge of DB2 database development on AS400, including both externally and internally described files.
  4. Understanding of Global Payments systems and concepts is a strong asset.
  5. Hands-on experience working in Agile teams using tools like Jira.
  6. Self-driven individual contributor with attention to quality and detail.
