Job summary

Qualifications

• Current and valid Teacher Certification through the Teacher Regulation Branch.
• Experience working within an IB learning environment is an asset.
• Experience teaching in the PYP.
• Deep understanding of the BC curriculum.
• Expertise in inquiry-based teaching and learning.

Responsibilities

• Lead the IB PYP Programme alignment with standards and practices, and maintain records for evaluation.
• Plan professional learning with staff and organize on-site PD for PYP and other needs.
• Coordinate PYP meetings and collaborate with teachers and support staff.
• Support IB coordinators and ensure differentiation in classrooms.
• Develop and review curriculum documentation and assessment practices.
