Job summary

Alberta Blue Cross is seeking a Manager, Identity & Access Management to lead the program that controls who can access our systems and data, and what they can do once inside.

Reporting to the Director of IT Risk & Compliance, you will design security roles, run access reviews, and drive the modernization of access governance, including selecting and implementing an IGA platform. You’ll partner with HR, Cybersecurity, internal audit, and service desks.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in identity and access management.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams.
• Experience leading selection/implementation of an IGA platform.
• Knowledge of RBAC, least privilege, and MFA.

Responsibilities

• Oversee access governance design and SoD controls.
• Run quarterly user access reviews and report outcomes.
• Define and deliver the IGA modernization roadmap.
• Automate joiner/mover/leaver processes for least-privilege access.
• Guide and develop IAM team and collaborate with stakeholders.
